WebWho is the day for?

The day is for children aged between 5 and 13 who have a particular need or disability. (eg Down’s syndrome, learning or physical disability, autism, ADHD etc) It might mean that they cannot access Catholic education. It is also for their families and carers.

Why such a day?

Pope Francis invites us to: “spread a culture of encounter, solidarity and hospitality towards persons with disabilities” Sometimes families may feel excluded or unsure about bringing their children to church. We are all created in the image of God and He loves us just as we are with our gifts and limitations and strengths and weaknesses. We invite you to celebrate God’s love for each one made in the image and likeness of God.

Where? and when?

The day will be held in Father Hudson’s, St Catherine’s Day Centre, Off Coventry Road, Coleshill B46 3EA on sunday 9th October from 11am -4pm
