A message from the Birmingham Youth Service for all parents!
We have a fantastic term ahead, plenty of opportunities for young people to encounter and live out their faith. We also have events at weekends or evenings aimed at supporting, resourcing and inspiring our volunteers working or wishing to work with young people in your parish.
Please be assured of our prayers and we hope you find this newsletter useful to you. We welcome your feedback.

“Flame 17”
Cardinal Vincent Nicholls invites our parishes to encourage young people to encounter Flame17!
10,000 young catholics will be celebrating their faith at the SSE Arena, Wembley on March 11th.
“Flame has now become an important part of the Catholic Calendar and mission in England and Wales. It is a unique opportunity for young Catholics to experience a joyful and missionary Church. In that setting, they experience Christ’s presence through times of prayerful worship and inspiring speakers, as well as through music and much true enthusiasm.” (Cardinal Vincent Nicholls)

Theme: Unlimited
This exciting national festival is coming to Alton Castle!
This is Bright lights!
This year the theme, ‘Unlimited’ explores; Do we live in a way that is unlimited? Are we curtailed in things that we do, worrying about what is to come next? Do we take the time to reflect and be thankful? Do we live our lives of faith within limits? Are our goals, dreams and hoped for achievements stifled because of a society that constrains our hope and imagination?
Come and join us for a weekend to discover the possibilities of living:UNLIMITED.
