Grant, we pray, O Lord,
that we may always find delight in these paschal mysteries,
so that the renewal constantly at work within us
may be the cause of our unending joy.
Through Christ our Lord.
The above prayer, the Prayer over the Offerings on Sunday, the 4th Sunday of Easter, reminds that renewal should be as characterisitc of us as it is presently such a feature in gardens and farms, forests and parklands.
The love of the Lord seeks to warm us, and draw us to newness of life. His call is for us not just to celebrate the raising of Jesus to new life, but actively to participate in that ourselves: for us to Easter in him.
